Yeti

I have talked some of my work friends into watching Katyn. I have also talked them into reading The Long Walk. But I have to admit that the further I get into the book the more concern I become of Rawicz’s Yeti encounter during his escape from gulag. Was the book just a scam? Please don’t throw stones at me if the book turns out to be a disaster!

Katyń

I saw Oscar nominations this morning and a Polish movie Katyń was nominated for best foreign film. It’s a must watch. Of course, I will use any venue to endorse anything Polish, but I must agree with some who say that the movie’s complicated historical context may prove esoteric to some foreign viewers. But that doesn’t change the fact that the movie is beautiful, deeply sad and deeply true.

Another day…

It is a fine day here in the metroplex.

It’s the weekend and so I am trying my best to rest. But then days off are for catching up as much as they are for rest, are they not? And so my eyes are tired. And I can’t seem to shut this blasted thing down but…

Anyway.

Written the day after the last blog – also deleted trying to fix a mess up a couple of weeks ago – love and care, crazy ol’ me – somewhere something must be attracting these jerks to me.

So today started like any other day. I opened my eyes and instantly wanted to be asleep again. I am so tired by the end of the week. The phone is ringing but I am not going to answer it. I worked really hard to get my work done, so that I could spend my Saturday this way. Sitting at the computer and telling a story.

Beware, it’s a bit of a rant.

I might just give up on this project

I have been trying to transport all of my entries from blogspot to wordpress, and it hasn’t been working too well.

And again, I don’t have time…

… but I will write more, I promise.
